I don't even know where to begin with this. First of all,
@ my Helios4 for surviving the first merge round and taking control of the game. I love them so much, even if they are likely to lose a few of their members soon.
Now, the cast ranking:
9. RobI'm still not a fan of Rob. I just can't with him and I agree entirely with Christy's frustrations. What was wrong thinking? He really, really screwed over his tribe the last three rounds. His decision to flip as likely cost himself the game. Oh and yelling @ Daniel for flipping even though it was clearly obvious that he was on the outs.
You guys were so arrogant that you didn't even bother to try to hide it. Problem was, you were so used to dumb people like Ryan and Jeanne, that you never thought Daniel would grow a pair.
8. Daniel
Nope, I still don't like him. He's still boring, and while he is not nearly as useless as he used to be, I just can't come around to him yet. His decision to keep Joanna save and let it be known to Helios that he is close to her, is incredibly stupid. I don't really know what he is thinking, but he is very lucky that Helios isn't drinking Erin's koolaid and are willing to bring him far. The move was smart for him (perhaps a round too early, but flip when you can, I guess), but as a character, I'm just not a fan. I do love the way he was handling the Rob argument though.
I'd freak out if someone brushed me off that way.
7. ErinErin is endearing, I'll admit. She has the underdog presence, even if she isn't an underdog. She, along with Penny, helped secure the crucial Daniel vote and while her strategy take Penny and Brian to the final 3 out of loyalty is sweet, it isn't going to happen. She's just too naive for this game. She isn't nearly as liked as she thinks and mostly everyone shrugs her off as "It's just Erin". She really reminds me of Courtney Marit in a way. She thinks she is the huge strategic threat and the people around her, not-so-much, but in reality, that's not that case. I will be crushed when and if Brian/Helen backstab her because I know her heart is in the right place. She's the sweetheart of the game.
6. HelenProbably the biggest fall for me. I mean, I still love Helen and her painfully long PMs. I love that everyone absolutely dreads responding to them and she's totally a coldhearted calculated bitch. Her rivalry with Brian is starting to manifest itself, which I've been waiting for since the beginning. I think their inevitable battle will be entertaining if she can wake up to Brian being a snake. I think she ranks 6th just because she is doing the least of the people above her right now.
5. JoannaAnother fall for me. I think Joanna has what it takes, but after seeing her latest confessionals, I can't help but get turned off. What the fuck? I just hope she is frustrated with the game and needs a slight break. I understand this is Princess Joanna, and when she doesn't get her way, she pouts like a baby, but she is still in a great position. Everyone trusts and loves her. She'll likely be the last Asteria standing in many people's eyes. She's a non-threat (lol how?) and so many people are ready to stab each other in the back soon. She just needs to stfu and stop whining so damn much. Bitch, you're in a great position, just relax a little.
4. PennyPenny gets a lot of hate, which I can understand because she's a bit of a scatterbrain. I still don't get why she thinks that Rob has the idol, but whatever floats her boat, I guess. I love Penny's thirst for the game. She never fails to bring the entertainment and she just really gets into it. I can't help but love me some Penny. She does suffer from the Rob syndrome of being her own worst enemy though. She'll likely get idol'd by Christy or blindsided soon, which is a shame.
3. TedI can't believe Ted is this high. I just don't have a reason to rank him lower. He's just done too much, and never settled. He's always willing to make a big move, and while I still think his stupid moves pre-merge will catch up to him, I do think he is the biggest character in the game right now. He's in a great position, he's playing hard, with hard players and will likely get to the end if he continues that way.
2. BrianBrian is boring on the boards and through PMs right now. I hate to admit it, but he really needs to step up his board presence and start leaking in some of his personality to his PMs. He has absolutely no bond with anyone on Asteria at this point because of it. What I do like about Brian is that he has a plan. He acknowledges his weakness and is willing to change it at the right time. He's also got a great strategy, that if done properly, will provide some brilliant blindsides. Oh and his hatred for Helen's long PMs
1. ChristyI love angry Christy so much more than arrogant, lazy Christy. Her latest confessionals are some of her best all game and now that she is the underdog, and fighting, I think she has what it takes to create some entertainment. No one suspects her of having the idol, which is great for her. She just needs to play it right (lol Brenda and Peih-Gee) and she can change this game again. Hell, if she manages to take out Daniel in the process, she might find herself on my number 1 for a long, long time.
