lol at Penny taking Jo's " icon_laughing " as a sign that the entire jury agrees with her statement.
In all actuality she was probably laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of it. I doubt Helen has such strong feelings of hatred
for Penny that she would throw away her game and not care about the win just to bring Penny down, leaving Brian to potentially win.
There is no way Helen is playing her FTC for Brian to win, if anything it is the other way around.

I think the Penny vs Helen, is comparable to Stephen VS J.T. They don't seem to actually dislike one another, but they both really want to win it.

Not sure about the first part but she definitely did her fair share of damage control at the sheer amount of stupidity post-merge. The last part is most definitely true, though.

Penny and Helen aren't really like JT/Stephen at all. I'd say they were more like Sophie & Coach. Both want to win, both don't really think Brian deserves to win, and both are aware that the other played a strong game.

Loved the FTC commentary here guys! <3

FWIW, my tactics going into was just to slag bag Helen off as much as I could. Repetition is key to winning over a Jury ive found, so I took my best moves of the game, put a little bit of bluff in between them and kept saying the same thing over and over as well as taking every opportunity to pay out on Helen and Brian's games.

Both of them played very well. But I didnt come all that way to not try my best to win. icon_razz

I don't mean to get all corny, but, losers lodge has been a bit of a learning experience for me. I have never really been put in a social situation like this, so it helped me grow a bit. I was so emotionally removed during the game, especially in my confessional, but, being a loser with you guys helped me got over that.

I can not say it enough, thank you to the hosts for allowing me to play.

See now this is why I'd rather call you guys 'Pre-Jurors'.
I mean like, the Jurors, hell even Helen & Brian lost too. 'Losers' just sounds so harsh.

You guys can definitely take some consolation from the fact that all of Penny, Helen, Brian, Joanna, Christy, Rob, Ted, even Daniel have played something similar before. Some 10 times or more. There is a lot to be learned of how to approach these games if the win is your primary goal, just basic stuff like PMing more, or using multiple tabs, up through challenges that often make a repeat showing. There's plenty of other ORGs out there if you know where to look - though I can promise you none of them are quite like Stranded ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong but this was a first time thing for every boot from Butch through to Shawna?
It's all a learning experience so long as you're willing to learn.

Ill tell you guys alot has to do with luck too.

First time I ever played an ORG I got to 8th place and was the 3rd Jury member.

Then I was third boot twice in a row. Alot comes down to luck and how you react when you get a lucky break.

I was very fortunate at key points in this game, but Brenda is right in that I had the experience to know when to take advantage of my lucky breaks.

I've been playing what six months?

Game 1 -> (early boot) Complete trainwreck
Game 2 -> (early boot) Solid early, get cocky with merge majority, BB twist by the minority makes me a target
Game 3 -> (early boot) Played too hard too early
Game 4 -> (made jury) Incorrect idol play, get taken out by closest allies for being a threat
Game 5 -> (made jury) Couldn't put in the required time due to RL stuff
Game 6 -> (made jury) Get alliance to F5, then we start eating each other

Played the next three of these at the same time - this is a major no-no!! Srsly, each loss was affected by the time spent on the other games.
Game 7 -> (early boot) Didn't put enough time in and never really gained some players trust (plus I was playing as Cochran when *that* episode was on telly icon_rolleyes Stoopi Cochran..)
Game 8 -> (first boot) Came on far too strong too early, idolled out in first round :D
Game 9 -> (first boot) tried to play UTR but was INV by accident

Game 10 -> #winning!

Um, apart from making a show of myself here, the point is that it's a learning curve always. Part of the reason it was so painful to watch Rob blunder his way through the game is because he is so experienced, and was making real schoolboy errors icon_no
