btw, I'm not just *fanning* because Christy was one of my recruits, like so was Rob for crying out loud :D But she was recruited because I knew she'd be this damn good.

Christy fell a bit short for me in the end. Her cunt/bitchiness didn't come through in the main boards or her confessionals. Rob is IANCD, right? LOL.

Stars are definitely the Stranded: Aussie players though.

I do like how both my recruits ended up in the final 4. icon_chaos

Where has this Joanna been for the past ten episodes? A little bit of formatting and this is the best FTC speech I've ever seen in a game. This is a genuine argument of why she needs to win rather than the usual, "I did my best and look where it got me!" tripe.

It's such a pity she has no hope of getting to use it. I understand why the Penny Wins speech didn't work on Helen, but she should be approaching Brian and Penny both and chancing a plea of "Bring me instead of the third Helios & I will steal these particular two votes from Helen, she will get two, and you can get the other three". It's a ridiculously longshot but it's there's no harm trying at this point.

That's what I've been saying! Joanna is a star, and I wish she wouldn't have taken a backseat come the merge.

I loved your write-ups of the jurors, and I know they'll love them as well. Not sure if I share the same opinions (you seemed way too nice) but they have so much depth, it's incredible.

Looking forward to your opinion on the finalists and who deserves a second chance.

I guess I'm of the school of thought that they should react better to positive highlighting of their good moves with a note or two on their bad rather than just slamming them?

It's possible I'm falling out of pundit territory here and into teacher mode. Like I will happily laugh at someone's terrible moves on TV, but the interaction element here makes it totally different. These are real people at the other end of the interweb as opposed to characters on a show. They will read these, and hopefully be trying to improve their game for future ORGs.

Why say "You're crap at x", when you can say "If you did y it would make your x better :) ". Point out the flaws sure, but do it in a way that they might actually learn from.

Like I could say a) The early boots obviously didn't get very far because they weren't very good.
or b) Ken, Jan, Jeanne, Jake, Ryan, Daniel, even Rob, - to be more successful YOU NEED TO PM EVERYONE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Be the aggressor and start/restart the convos. Put in the work and talk to the people you don't like aswell. This way if people don't fit into your plans at least you can guess at what their plans are. You can compare someone's version of events against someone else's. Even if they are lying you can establish a baseline so you can actually tell when they are lying. Learn to do this first and later you can experiment with different approaches.

Like tell them what they did wrong, but also what they should have done, and how they should do it. So many times during the game I couldn't tell them so here is my chance I guess. Although I'm far from being the authority on ORGing, and there is a million ways to win.

Have I mentioned I'm a Scout Leader IRL? Getting on ten years now.. yusyus, seems irrelevant but bear with me.
I do a lot of teaching them raw skills, letting them plan & run their own activities, and then I'm an assessor on competition weekends too. Point is I work with kids a lot in a teaching/grading environment. But because of this I've picked up the (bad? idk) habits of being a bit of a soft touch and only ever criticising if I can present advice on a fix for the problem too ykwim? It works wonders with 11-17 years olds, so why not adults too.

Be warned the fanfic will see my bitchy side come out though - because that is purely for entertainment value. Much as I love Jake for example - his trust of Ted's "long con" *will* make him a figure of fun.

So they may all well hate me after that comes out icon_devil I'll be shifting the blame back on themselves though - if they hadn't made the stupid moves or said the quotes in the first place...

I'm a very bad teacher. I'm an intuitive personality who's very blunt, and I find it very hard to explain my process to why I come to certain conclusions because I'm constantly crunching information in my head.

That's more me being busy with a lot of stuff this season and being able to have you guys pick up the slack. icon_laughing

I normally throw out a few more updates than that.
