Temple Council #6 - Asteria
Jeff: PMs go off in 5 minutes. Get your scrambling in folks, it's gonna be a bumpy council.

Jeff: Shawna, what are you looking at in this point in time? Who is your personal threat going into a merge, or who can work with you going into a merge?
Shawna: I'm a friendly girl i can work with anyone, but right now i think the obvious way to go is Asteria vs Helios and everyone who survives tonight should agree on that.
Taj: Shawna, so it's safe to assume tonight's vote is based on loyalty at the merge?
Shawna: It's the logical way to go.
If we can't trust someone is with us then it's better that that person is not around at all.
Jeff: Jeanne, do you trust Rob?
Rob: This ought to be good.
Jeanne: Not really. I am extremely skeptical person, flipping, in no way, eases those feeling.
Jeff: Rob, do you deserve to go home tonight over someone who's stayed with this tribe?
Rob: Yes, because if people were smart they'd realize that I didn't mutiny over there because I wanted to flip to Helios, but rather to gather information. Let's just say that the only person who isn't smart answered your first question.
Rob: I meant no. No, I don't deserve to go home. Yes, I do deserve to stay.
Jeff: You saying Jeanne isn't smart, Rob?
Rob: I'm saying Jeanne isn't smart, Jeff.

Ted, you HAVE to be a little nervous tonight, you've met the other players. You're the only one other than Rob who knows them.
Ted: I'm always a little nervous going into tribal. I feel better about going to tribal with Asteria then going to tribal with Helios.
Jeff: Jeanne, no response to Rob calling you stupid?
One of you guys is going home tonight and someone is going to regret not fighting harder.
Jeanne: I dont want to feed that fire. But for someone to flip and say " I was gathering info", is a little suspect. Especially when none of this so called info has been posted in any of our boards, and wouldnt you think it would be a good idea to let the tribe members no before doing this? He can say I am stupid, so be it. it makes me trust him that much less.
Rob: Why would I post that info now? Post all the info I know so that you can just vote me off since I'm not needed anymore? My information is valuable.
And just because YOU didn't know I was going over to fish for info doesn't mean that I didn't tell anyone.
Taj: Daniel, Asteria TCs always seem to be very under-the-table. Is this because the person going home doesn't know it?
Daniel: We just lack the boisterous personalities that Helios has. But yeah, tonight will absolutely be a blindside.
Jeff: Cmon guys... Christy, do you know who you're voting for and are you confident in that decision?
Christy: I know who I'm voting for. And I'm confident.
Taj: If someone feels like they are leaving, this may be your only chance to fight. Fight to survive, otherwise, you will regret it.
Jeanne: By the sounds of it peoples minds are made up. My bags are packed, just in case. It would be unreasonable to feel 100% safe.
Taj: Minds are never made up. What do people have to lose from fighting?
Jeff: Yea Taj, I think just about everyone pre-season compared themselves to Sandra... right now it's looking more like they shouldve compared themselves to mick or jaison lol.

Daniel: I'm probably not vulnerable tonight, but I'll lay my cards down anyway:
1.) I'm loyal. I will never flip on Asteria. I'll BLEED for this tribe, understand that.
2.) I know Rob isn't a traitor, Jeanne, you are turning a blind eye to the truth. Rob didn't tell the tribe because obviously he's in an alliance with certain people and you just happened to be excluded. Sorry.
3.) I want Penny to get booted as soon as possible.

Brenda: How do you bleed for the tribe when this becomes an individual game Daniel?
Daniel: Simple - pagong the fuck out of Helios, then we can eat each other. The process of cannibalism surely involves some bleeding right?

Shawna: Personally i see this tribal as a warm up for the merge, whatever happens here, i don't think anyone is willing to work with Helios so , i say we let Jeff tally and then lick our wounds.

Not all of us will have the oppurtunityRob: I don't know if my name is being tossed around as a target, but just a few things I can say in favor of myself:
#1) I believe risking one's neck to mutiny over to an obviously hostile tribe just to gather information that will be helpful to us come the merge makes that person more valuable to the tribe than someone who barely PMs and rarely ever helps in challenges.
#2) Shawna just said that it has to be an Asteria vs. Helios merge, I don't think anyone would disagree with that. The easiest way to make that happen is to know their dynamics. Anyone who knows the dynamics should definitely stick around since they're very useful.
Brenda: So Ted is a valuable player to you right now?
Rob: He's valuable for reason #2 that I gave, not for reason #1. He holds information about Helios that few people do.
Jeff: Alright yall, Time to vote.

Jeanne's Final Words
Well. I knew it was coming tonight. I did the best I could. I think I just did too much planning too quickly. The other Asteria members saw how quickly I learned, and excelled, and it clearly frightened them going into the merge. If I were to do it again, I would try to stay under the radar until the merge. Asteria is making a big mistake with Rob. Overall, I cannot be upset with how it went down, its the nature of this thing. The silence before tribal, was deafening.... (know how you feel, Christy). I hope Shawna, goes all the way.
