Temple Council #3 - Helios Jeff: Welcome Helios, Sorry we had to go through all of that, I hope it doesn't affect your feelings towards the game moving forward. I want nothing but the most fair outcome possible. Jeff: Penny, tell me about the gamut of emotions you guys ahve gone through tonight through losing twice, then winning, then losing again. Penny: We are shattered after all that happened tonight. I really cant explain the feeling of going from down in the dumps to high as a kite and then back down to the dumps again. I think everybody is really confused and just really upset. I know I am after tonight. Jake: It was very confusing with all the rules and things, but if we discard all of the wordsearch challenges, then Asteria obviously won the numbers one fair and square. Although I couldn't help but notice your favorance towards their tribe as a whole.. just saying Jeff: Jake, it wasn't a favoritism, it was frustration with having to redo another challenge and then to have to listen to you guys throw it in their face after it was difficult for me to recall the challenge to begin with. It just was nasty. The back and forth between asteria and helios has been nasty in general throughout the competition. Which one part of me feels is great for the game, but it can be hard to watch after challenges after people are already feeling shitty. Erin: Jake, I don't think Jeff was being unfair. Honestly, if Asteria weren't so annoying, I would empathize with them losing on technicalities. But they're the most arrogant douchebags I've ever seen. Jake: Sorry to clarify I didn't mean favoring them with the calls he makes on the challenges, I meant it looked like he liked them better because we seemed too arrogant. But I think we all just hate them so much Jeff: Brian, we haven't heard from you at the challenge or afterwards in the interaction between tribes. What are your feelings about the tribal feuds and do you think it might hurt or help you guys in the future? Brian: I like the tribal feuds. I think it's part of the spirit of the game to support your tribe. And honestly, we're down now, and I'm nervous about the possibility of being wiped out. But we shouldn't give up hope. We can use this loss as a motivator to become stronger and focused going forward to hopefully get the advantage back on our side. It's disappointing now, but we just need to re-focus. Carl: Helen, does the animosity between the tribes worry you now that Helios will be down to 5 members against Asteria's 8? Helen: It's absolutely worrisome. Losing the challenge is one thing, but we went into tonight knowing that winning and losing are both possibilities to expect. When it comes to the numbers game, the shattering part of tonight is that we might not have just lost one, but two people. Whoever is voted out tonight, and also Ted. Having to go from this TC all the way to a potential merge on a victory streak to try to keep even is going to be tough. Not only that, but the animosity between the tribes isn't going to make that time anymore pleasant. And once the merge hits, it could easily lead into an unavoidable pagonging because of that very animosity. Erin: Pagonging, the very words every tribe doesn't want to hear. Or worse, Ulonging... Jeff: Anyone want to own up to feeling particularly vulnerable tonight? Penny: I feel extremely vulnerable tonight Jeff. Brenda: Penny, you talk a big game when antagonising Rob & Co., yet twice now you've found yourself apologising for your challenge performance - what exactly are you bringing to this tribe? Penny: I take direct responsibility for tonight's challenge. Internet failing can realistically happen to anybody and hopefully everybody takes that into account. Ive put my own butt on the line in defending our tribe when Asteria have had a crack at us. I also think ive done a good job in challenge preparation, had my alphabetical tactic been allowed, we would have the advantage, and were denied that tactic after I had lost communication with my tribe. Taj: Jan, what do you think your tribe needs to turn this game around and make it to the merge with even numbers? Jan: Umm, i think we have alot of stuff in the bag like teamwork, i mean we also seem to get along very well but i think we just havn't had any luck with the challenges, and we try very hard and fight to stay in the game, it's just these little mistakes that are bringing us down, if we get bettter at challenges will make it to the merge with good numbers. Brenda: Erin, soon this tribe will be down to five members - the possibility of jumping ship to Asteria's larger numbers must be creeping across your mind. Can your loyalties change or is it Helios to the bitter end? Erin: It's Helios to the bitter end. Even if anyone jumps ship, they're gonna be picked off when Asteria goes to TC. No one likes traitors. Ted may have bought himself some time but he's not going to win this game. Penny: I think we're most shattered just by Ted. I really thought he would have tanked the challenge. Thats what has really disappointed us I think and why we are all feeling so flat. Carl: Do you believe Ted isn't sticking to the plan you discussed? Erin: I don't know what to believe right now. In this game, your mind immediately looks at the negative outcomes of the situation and hopefully, Ted keeps his end of the bargain. Jake: I'm really wondering what is going on with Ted. There were a lot of things that could go wrong with our plan but I never thought him jumping ship would be one of them. Even if he tanked it blatantly he still had the idol, so no matter what he would be safe and one of them would go home, but he put in the last number knowing a Helios would go home. That makes me really uneasy. Brenda: Jake, you've been particularly vocal about Ted's good intentions, and particularly confused that he didn't throw the challenge. Why exactly should he be in any hurry to use his idol up? Brenda: Penny, same question. Penny: Ted didnt HAVE to jump ship. It was a plan we discussed and he agreed to. We figured he would do his best to sabotage and then come right back. Thats what was disappointing. Jake: I guess it's easier for him to not want to stick to the tribe plan considering he has the idol and we don't. But he will never be an Asteria so kissing up to them won't do him any good. I guess we trusted the wrong person. At this point in the game though, it is still tribal and he should have stuck with us, now that he flipped he doesn't really have a good shot with either tribe to be honest Jan: I agree with what Penny said, i have no idea why Ted wouldn't at least help us out a bit in the challenge. Jeff: In most of these games, pre-merge boots are determined entirely by activity. This tribe seems to be completely active, however. Helen... does that make this boot extremely difficult or are there people who could stand to be a bit more active? Helen: Your assessment is spot-on. Whether it's real-life Survivor or online, there is some fundamental criteria that defines the first few eliminations of the game. For this, like you said: activity. That doesn't work for us, since the cast for this season was very well-picked to ensure that everyone walked in being ready to play. So, we're stuck. We can't use activity as a basis, but we also like each other. And, as far as I'm aware, there isn't any hard core strategizing and backdoor scheming going on to determine which of us goes next either. It's going to be a tough choice as long as it's these same faces here. Brenda: If this is indeed the 'Love Tribe', does the person who is going home tonight know it? Erin: It's all about strength right now. The person will know why they're going home when they're going home. Brenda: Jake, do you consider yourself a 'strong member' of this tribe? Jake: I do consider myself strong. I feel I have good relations and that I try to keep our morale up at all times. And during challenges though I am not amazing with the computer stuff like some of them are, in the two wordsearches I did contribute words and help us to almost win Penny: Whoever is voted out will be surprised. I just hope im not the one surprised. Jeff: Alright at this time all votes are final. If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now s the time to do so. I'll go tally the votes. Jake: Good Luck guys. Helios <3 Penny: About that Jeff... Penny: Image I'd like to play the Hidden Immunity Idol... It has a face on it!!!!!! Brian: Erin: It's just a f***in stick! Penny: But... it has a face on it!! Erin: Penny: Im just screwing with you guys. Tried to find a better stick with a face on it on Google, but didnt wanna run out of time. Jake: Helen: Brian: Thank you for breaking that awkward silence. Jan: i love you Penny lol, i taught it was actually it Penny: Lol at Brian for believing it. Erin: Jake: Brian: Jeff: Alright everyone, I do have the votes. The person voted off will be asked to leave Tribal Council immediately. I'll read the votes; Jeff: First vote: -- Jan -- "I'm voting for you because, unfortunately, I feel like you are the weakest link on the tribe. Sorry." Jeff: 2nd Vote: -- Brian -- "I really don't know who to vote for and out of everyone left your my least favorite" Jeff: Third vote: -- Jan -- "I'm so sorry Jan, I love you to death, but overall in challenges you can be a bit of a liability. Good luck with everything and I hope to see you on the otherside." (That's two votes Jan, one vote Brian) Jeff: Fourth vote: -- Jan -- "You're a wonderful person, but at this point, we have to do what is best for the tribe. I'm sorry. All the best of luck to you." (That's three votes Jan, one vote Brian) Jeff: Fifth vote: -- Jan -- "I'm sorry but you're weak in challenges. I will be sad that you're leaving. Good luck :(" Jeff: Final Vote: -- Jan -- "Hopefully this is the right move for us right now. No hard feelings" http://stranded.immunityidol.net/greece ... 3kkdo.html Brian: Bye, Jan. Sorry. :( Helen: Sad to see you go, Jan *waves* Erin: :( Jake: Bye Jan <3 Jeff: Jan, I'm sorry the tribe has spoken. *smuff* Jan: Aw bye guys :( Hope you kick there asses! Jan's Final Words Jan (Final Words): Ha! Third voted out lol, Oh well, i mean i wasn't surprised i got voted out, i honestly sucked at the challenges, and i didn't have good comebacks on hating Ass-teria. But thanks though for picking me to have this opurtunity, it was fun while it lasted, eventhough i barely sleep -_- I think i got along most with Jake and Helen, i P.Med them alot, they just seem like cool, nice people. i will definatly do it again, i mean eventhough it's my dream to be on Survivor, i doubt i will ever get on, so this is the closest to that :) Vote Reveal Brian - Jan "I'm voting for you because, unfortunately, I feel like you are the weakest link on the tribe.
