Brian wins immunity & Erin proves she's not half-bad either.

What is most interesting here is the potential for Christy to 'betray' Joanna's trust by not using the idol. Joanna the human lie detector can tell something is off, but she is afraid the flat out boot Joanna story is just that, so she has Christy on a promise to play it at nine minutes if Erin hasn't by that point.. of course, Erin has no idol to play icon_lol

Joanna is a human lie detector. I'm shocked at how good she is at reading people.

And again Joanna's bluntness is refreshing (to Rob): they will continue to lie to us because she has you wrapped around her finger and we have no moves anyways?

Helen (Confessional): Erin is a GODDESS for her TC acting right now. She deserves an Emmy. Brilliant.

So now Erin has picked up an Oscar from Rob and an Emmy from Helen. GJ girl!

Christy needs to idol someone out soon. If another person gets voted off with an idol in their pocket, I'll be pissed.

Sounds like they are trying to get Helios to target Rob and idol Helen out. icon_popcorn

Christy finally tells Rob about the idol. His reaction? Nope, not 'I thought you were my number 1 why u no share?' - it's to whine at the unfairness of the rules icon_rolleyes

Rob wrote:
That's so dumb. icon_rolleyes Do they change the clues on real Survivor when the idol is found? Fuck no. They let the people figure it out on their own.

Rob logicfail. The clues did not change. As on RL Survivor clues keep being handed out whether it's found or not. And you could have figured it out if you had a little focus instead of trying to cruise through on auto-drive. The whole mutiny could have been avoided (and consequently being completely suckered by all four Helios) if you just asked Ted what the clue he took said, and compared it to your own. Shawna made a public thread about how Ted had clues ferchrissakes!!

On RL Survivor, if you go digging in the dirt in the exact same spot where the idol used to be, you don't find an empty hole with a handy little note saying "Sorry, you're looking in the right place, but unfort the idol has already been found".
No, you figure it out on your own. If the clues all point to it being in X location, and it's not, then you should realise someone has it already.

This way is a much closer simulation to the show, despite how you've seen it happen in other games. The only way to run it even closer, would be to not use a locked forum at all.

I honestly hate Rob. He's so entitled, whiny and bitchy. It makes complete sense when you know who is playing him but HE'S THE REASON HIS TRIBE IS IN THE POSITION THEY ARE IN. Christy is decent enough to share that information and plan, instead of worrying about herself.

Ew, I cannot be here tonight. Bet TC is finally exciting too.

Make sure to push Joanna on whether being a doormat is good for her game.
Brian on goat at the end versus honourable defeat.
Erin on something along the lines of whether she fears being taken out for being a strategic threat
Helen on how the Jury think she's a boring cow/sourpuss
Christy on um.. IDK what might even get a response from her.. a question about her allowing Rob to play incompetently on her behalf? icon_unsure

And just generally point Penny and Rob at each other and let them loose icon_biggrin
"Penny, critique Rob's overall game. Rob, do Penny's"
