Where do you guys think each juror's votes are going after seeing the first half of TC?
We only heard 2 of 7 jurors address them so it is still a little tough to say how they`d vote.
I think Penny is doing a good job of fighting and has made a pretty good argument to this point. I think she may be doing a little bit of revisionism to make her sound better but I don`t blame her. Pull out all the stops! But it seems like she was so deadset on Rob going that she pigeonholed herself into this spot rather than actively controlling her f3. I`m asking myself if she would`ve voted out Helen at any of the 4 TC`s she was immune then how come she couldn`t target Brian instead and cut a leg out from under Helen? I know this is an outsider with hindsight perspective so I may be off with some of this from what could have actually happened. I also think that targeting Shawna at f10 wasn`t quite the best move. I felt even from the first few challenges pre merge that Rob Christy and Joanna would be working together it seemed obvious to me and though I had Asteria insight it wasn`t much more than Helios' insight would have been at that point because it isn`t like I was working the PMs much if any then. I know they had an idol to worry about but this would have been a good point to push the Rob vote hard or even Christy or Joanna to break up that 3some. Maybe they thought Rob would work with them later but meh Shawna might have too. I know they said Ted pushed Shawna`s name but there was some room to play there I think.
Helen is obviously doing a fantastic job. She explained her thinking and strategy more clearly than either of the other 2, and has done a wonderful job combating Penny`s points. I really respect the game she played and her reasoning behind all of her moves that kept her from having the tables turned on her before her immunity run. By the same token though I think Penny has done a good job to argue that Helen would`ve been gone without the immunity run and that not being the case for her. But I don`t hold that against Helen at all. I think she did a great job of keeping things(#`s) where voting her out wouldn`t be a smart move for Penny/other Helios. They could`ve got rid of her at f8 if not for her brilliant f9 move(which just may be the move of the game). At f8 she also pulled a brilliant move on Ted after using him to her advantage the vote before. She cut him loose at a perfect time to keep her game safer, which set things up for it to be a bad end game move for Penny/others to vote her out at the next Tc(had she not won immunity). Lets not forget too that Ted had won the first 2 challenges at that point and would`ve been one of her main challenge competitors looking forward and someone we thought of as a threat to win it at that point. I wish she`d use that in her argument but she probably doesn`t need it.
Brian on the other hand has some work to do. His opening statements left a lot to be desired. I don`t view him as a goat by any means like others seem to. In ways he seems like the Fishbach to Helen`s JT(and I respected fishbach`s game a lot). I think he isn`t doing a good enough job of separating his game from Helen`s and is giving her far too much credit(even if she deserves it) and almost seemed a bit like he was championing Helen in some of his answers. I think people are also projecting(or are going to) a little bit of their sour grapes onto Brian. Its so hypocritical of them to try and fault Brian for not turning on Helen when there was no logical point for him to do so without hurting his game(at least in the late pre-merge and early post-merge game imo) By the time Brian had a chance end game wise Helen was on her immunity run.
All in all at this point though it would be between Helen and Penny for me with Helen in the lead right now. I like how she was always conscious of how each vote would affect her standing in the game not only at that time but in the future. I loved how she explained voting out Daniel saying it made Penny`s f3 path(that most likely didn`t involve Helen) harder not hers. She was well aware not to let the numbers tip to a point that she became expendable. Her moves to vote out Ted and Daniel were both huge for her end game.
So I`d vote Helen at this point and I think the jury will too.
Sorry for the long winded response guys but I`m channeling my inner Helen
