To speak more on gaming... Christy, your move with blindsiding Erin was one of the defining moves this season, along with Ted and Rob's mutinies (we'll get to that in a bit). A lot of people don't know exactly how close that was. Can you talk to me about how you went through deciding if you should play it on yourself and Joanna? Why did you ultimately play it on yourself? Why target Erin?
Blindsidin Erin... hmm. It came together for a number of reasons, and almost everyone had a hand in how it played out. So at the F7 it was four Helios and three Asteria. We desperetaley needed something, so I tried working on Penny to flip on Helen. Since we thought that Penny and Erin were a clear pair, I started talking with Erin as well. But Penny decided that she's not going to flip at seven, and that she'll flip at six instead. At that point I couldn't let any Asteria go. So I told Penny that I'm willing to vote Rob. At this point the plan was to play the diol on him.
At the same time Erin messaged Joanna, and as she saw me and Rob as a pair, she asked Joanna that what's going on and what shit I'm trying tp pull. Joanna reported me back this. Clue #1.
Then somehow Joanna got reeled in the plan by Penny. Her plan was that me, Jo and her will vote for Rob, while Helen, Brian and Penny will vote for Jo, so basically Jo 'needed to vote for Rob to survive'. On the other hand my plan was to play the idol on Jo (since she was supposed to get three votes), while Asteria voted for Helen, and Penny votes for Rob.
Then Helen started interrogating me. That she cannot believe that I'm willing to vote Rob out and stuff like that. This was clue #2.
Then Joanna sent me a PM about how I shouldn't trust them. Clue #3.
Then Penny reminded me in my last PM that Helen/Erin/Brian will vote together. Clue #4
Putting the clues together I realized that the votes won't be for Joanna, because she was strictly targeted by Penny, and I realized that Rob wasn't going to get votes either, because that would've been too risky if the indeed plays the idol.
In last mintue PMs we decided on Erin, because of the lie that she had the idol. But the intention was to get Helen out.
